Monday Musings ~ Mother Nature

Wanna-be storm cloud
probably made a puddle

17 inches overnight on the 16th flooded a nearby town or two, or three
This is a river that ran out of it's banks.

and Gilham dam letting all that extra water out.

My Crepe Myrtle is blooming
But
Where are the bees?
Maybe three, instead of hundreds.

Goal: capture a photo of the ISS
(but that sucker was way too fast)
Settled for the Full Moon
It didn't appear to move, but geesh, I sure did.
I need a tri-pod.

I'll leave you with a gorgeous sunset
 sinking under the
storm clouds.

A story along with the photos, this is lovely, maybe that top cloud did give some water, and what a huge spate? from the dam. Beautiful purple flowers, the bees cannot be far away.

What a beautiful sunset, Terri. So unusual and lovely. I love all these photos, and the crepe myrtles are still blooming in your area. The flowers have all dropped to the ground here, and we are in the full Summer and getting warmer each day.

Wishing you happy Summer days.

Lovely photos. Sad there aren't as many bees as there needs to be.

Seventeen inches?? Wow! We've been spared the worst of things over here. Just got a tenth of an inch earlier today.

At least (in general) it's been a little cooler this summer. It's certainly been wetter.

Your last two pictures are stunning!! And your crepe myrtle is so pretty. Yes, where ARE all the bees? Maybe they are on their way! What a cute little rain cloud!

Loved that tiny cloud making an effort. Kind of cute. Beautiful shots as always. Hope you are enjoying this cool down. We can get out of the house again.

Thanks for sharing with us.

We don't have crepe myrtles around here, though I wish we did; they are gorgeous!

Have a happy rest of your week.
