Thankful Thursday ~ Hello August

Thankful today for a bit of rain that brings the blooms...Mother Nature, please don't get carried away this time.  Just an inch will make the Texas Sage blossom out so pretty.

Lovely blooms! I have a feeling August is going to be hot and dry. Still... for us, it's not been a bad summer at all. The cows seem happy with their lush green pasture.

Very pretty!

We've had summer rain showers here as well, thankfully nothing that has caused flooding.

Have a nice rest of your week :)

This is so pretty....the river here is finally down...it hasn't been out of banks, but it has stayed close to it all summer till the past week. So I know what you mean about rain not getting carried away.

Weather is so funny. For some we have too much and for some we do not have enough. Hope you got the rain you need.

Pretty blooms! We had heavy rains yesterday, but it had been so dry here that it didn't hurt anything to have so much rain.

Rain is always a good thing. It cleanses and makes everything fresh again. So glad you got a bit of rain. It rained a lot in California last Winter, and I'm wondering if we will get as much this year.
