I spotted this mural down the street from where 

my grandson was performing with the Texarkana Winds.

Dr. Pepper rules.  Just saying! 

We enjoyed the outdoor concert, but it was hot! 

That's my grandson Blayne- in the center.  

They were up on a platform and 

it was hard to see faces.

This mural is located in DeQueen, Arkansas, a few miles from the Oklahoma border. It is bordered with the 5 Seals of the Indian Nation, and depicts a peaceful scene along a river's edge. 

These paintings are on the side of the Chamber of Commerce's building.

Dr Pepper, a main staple of my diet for eons.  Over the years I have switched to Diet Dr Pepper, but I remain true to the pop.  I have never been able to drink coffee; although I have tried many times.  So I have to get my caffeine from somewhere.  This mural is located in a nearby town, and I've seen it a hundred times and never thought to stop and really look at it.   If you want to know what the numbers 10, 2 and 4 mean, and also a little history on this sugary drink- check that out here!

Thankful for life carried on, but scared about their future.  Meet Bo, my newest great grand.  Isn't he just the cutest?  This makes three greats!  

My sister brought this back for me; a Chili Ristra, from New Mexico.  She said they are for good luck and good health.  Ok then, bring it!
