My favorite river bird. I would love to have just a tad of his patience.
I hope everyone is doing well. I have missed catching up with all my blogging buddies, and I hope I can get back to what I love soon.
I have just about completely stopped taking photos because I am so aggravated with my camera and new zoom lens. Sounds pretty lame, but it's mostly just being impatient. Have you ever just thrown your hands up in the air and said enough already?! LOL...
I'm going to take a new tact and put the lens up until I can figure it out.
Meanwhile, the long, hot days of summer are here, and I am not for it at all! I'm already counting the days until fall, but I still give it the old college try and get out and about at least to mow and go buy groceries.
Everyone have a good week!

Totally get the camera struggles—sometimes stepping back is the sanest move. That bird’s patience sounds like a vibe we all need! Hope you find your spark again soon. Stay cool out there!
That is an incredible capture
This is lovely!
...the image of the heron is gorgeous!
I am with you on the tad of patience, caregiving my husband is not good for patience and I have very little left. beautiful photo and now I am curious what lens you can't tackle. maybe a week on the shelf and start over. that helps me sometimes
Good Morning! Its so good to see your post today. Learning new things is always hard. I love your picture. That is a good lesson. Just learning to wait and be patient when everything wants to do it now. Yes, summer is here. I can't wait to see your photos, with your new lens.
That's a beautiful picture of the Heron!!!
The only camera I have is my cell phone!
GORGEOUS!
That is an outstanding capture. It is a perfect photo. The colors all blend so well with the bird.
I saw a similar heron beofre the fireworks the other night, and my friend got a pretty good picture. Then I saw it in flight, which I quite appreciated.
Sending good wishes for the month of July.
All the best Jan
With whatever you took this photo, it worked well.
I didn't realize you have posted recently. I sure do miss your wonderful posts. Yes, there have been times when I threw my hands up in the air and just shook my head haha. I hope you figure things out on your camera. That can be frustrating.
