Hands Full of Gold

Stormy day pic from May. It was awesome to see.
The gold was a brilliant gold..almost bright orange.

We've had a long mostly dry summer since our early heavy spring rains.  My pond is about to be a puddle, but I am hoping that relief is on the way.

It's down about 6-8 feet.  I think we must have a slow leak :)
But it is raining this morning, so maybe we are on the way out of this drought.

Much happier news:

My granddaughter's wedding went off without a hitch.
I wanted to share with you my sweet great granddaughters

Hadleigh Jo

Olivia Grace-
who would not stand still for photos.  Someone got this shot
and sent it to me, but you can see she has been running and playing!

and my granddaughter with her husband Josh

I hope everyone has a great weekend, and thank you for stopping by my blog.

Gorgeous clouds captured and your Great Granddaughters are precious.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I really appreciate it.
We had one spritz of rain and now we are back to dry weather again. Weather guys say it will be a moist winter...but I have heard that before..haha

What a special day for your granddaughter. And your great granddaughters are darling. I love that little dress on Hadleigh Jo. Your stormy day photo is beautiful. Kind of reminds me of Autumn with the colors.

Happy November days to you, friend. ; )

I don't think I've ever seen quite that golden color in a cloud. Precious little girls all dressed up and having a good time. Congratulations to your granddaughter and husband. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

Thanks for your comment on my blog. Read through several posts on yours, and you have an interesting combination of history, critters and travels. I've never seen so many turtles at once, and I enjoyed your Colorado pictures.

What a lovely post! Your Hands Full of Gold photo is spectacular! Do you get bluebirds in that box I see by your pond? Olivia Grace sure has an impressive head of golden curls. Florence (a.k.a. Out To Pasture)

The golden cloud is amazing. So beautiful! What sweet little great granddaughters...and such a beautiful bride. Our little pond is low too. We really need rain. Gets a little scary when things start drying up.
