Monday Musings ~ Blooms

Something is terribly wrong with my camera. It refuses to zoom focus.  Oh it will, for two seconds and then it fuzzes out.  I think I need a new camera.  (HA HA)
So, I have been digging through my old files while at the same time trying to delete doubles, triples and crops of the same photos.  Does anyone else do that?
(tons of pics of the moon, what the what was I thinking?)

I found this gorgeous purple morning glory/petunia shot from 2014 and this pink and green thistle from 2016.  I also found some WONDERFULLY COLD  photos of ice on tree branches and snow on the ground and weighing down tree limbs, but I didn't want to torture any other southerners who are also wilting in the humidity and heat as I am.
(Fall is only 35 days away)

Y'all have a wonderful week.

Again, Fall is only 35 days away!

Hope you can get your camera fixed but these replays were pretty nice.

Yes! I am with you on that! I have been doing the same with my pictures lately-over 5000 of them!!! Love your photos!

Hope you can either get your camera repaired or get a new one. Oh, I would hate to be without a camera. Yes, I periodically go through my files and sort out the duplicates or simply 'bad' shots.

Lovely pics, and yes, I think you need a new camera (**smile**) as you've probably worn the current camera out with all the gorgeous pictures that you've taken.

Have a happy new week.

Yes I need to do that also. Today would probably be good for it is 102 outside and I sure can't do anything out there. Well maybe tomorrow--

I was having this same thought the other day, how many pictures do I really need of sunflowers. I love those purple flowers. So pretty.
I am looking forward to fall too.
Have a wonderful week.

I hate when a camera goes on the fritz. I'm hoping that my current one will stay with me for a long time.
I have so many pictures on my computer it's unbelievable. I should go through and get rid of some because there are lots of them that are total junk. I'm not sure why I save them

Both pictures are beautiful, but that purple morning glory is breathtaking. My cheap little camera seems to be falling apart. :) You do take amazing pictures.

That is the prettiest color, Terri. Yes, I've been going through photos and deleting lots of them. There's always something new and beautiful to take pictures of, so I clear things out for the new to come in. : )

Yes, I do all the same things with photos. I am sure that I could do some serious weeding out, if I had the heart for it. I hope that the camera can be fixed. I always try that before buying a new one. Usually, it’s as simple as a professional cleaning, which is much cheaper than purchasing a new one. Still, one must know when to “let go” of cameras, too.

ooooh this is so true of me!!! new problem i am having, when i plug in my cell phone to download pictures, it downloads 2 of each pictures. and of course, i take 30 pictures of a butterfly, not necessary but that turns in to 60 pictures, most of them look the same, sigh!!!

the morning glory is gorgeous, that happens to be my favorite color!!

and by the way, it happens to be 110 degrees here today!!!

Lovely flower photos! I too take way too many pictures. I console myself with the thought that at least they are digital images and that I didn't pay for the cost of film and developing to make them. :-)

Beautiful flowers. The petunia is so striking with its great color.

My camera is misbehaving as well. I am trying to figure out if I should have it cleaned and fixed or just put the $ toward a new one. It’s nearly a decade old after all. I may have to do some research. 😏
