Mom- early 1940's
If roses grow in heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother’s arms
and tell her they’re from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there’s an ache within my heart
that will never go away.

What a lovely poem and tribute to your mother. Mine has been in heaven 43 years this month. I still think of her often.
Beautiful photo and poem! Happy Mother's day, Terri!
A beautiful photograph and lovely words.
Here in the UK we celebrated our Mothers Day on 31 March, but they are forever in our hearts aren't they.
All the best Jan
Hello,
What a beautiful photo of your Mom. I hope your Mother's Day was wonderful.
Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week!
Aw.. your mom sure was a cutie!
It's so hard on special days to think about those we love that have passed away. We never quit missing them.
What a blessing it is to have had such amazing parents to love us and be our family forever!
Sending {{hugs}}

Cute photo. Sweet poem. I think sometimes Mother's Day is so bittersweet. My DIL lost her first baby in Jan. She was in tears all day. I was so glad I got her flowers.
There will be such rejoicing in heaven when we are all reunited don't you think? Have a wonderful week.
What a precious poem for your Mother, Terri. And you know how much I love roses. I will write this one down. This is a treasured photo of your Mom. Sending thoughts of comfort and love. I know how hard it is without a Mother on Mother's Day. : )
