I finally got a mum to survive over the winter.
(recognize her? Pumpkin pie mum from November!)
and my Limelight Hydrangea is still struggling, but slowly coming back to life.
I'm thankful today for small victories, and maybe I have earned
one green stripe on my brown thumb?

I am impressed with the mum. Mine never survive and I try! Your hydrangea looks great as well. Mine are just beginning to bloom. Thank you for linking up!
LOL You've definitely earned at least one green stripe on your brown thumb!
I do like the Limelight Hydrangea.
All the best Jan
Beautiful blooms. I've never had a mum last so long.
This is so neat for your mum to have made it through the winter and it looks so healthy....I do love that limelight hydrangea. I have tried growing them, but I just don't have an area around our home that is suitable for them I guess...
...I cut our Limelight back to within inches of the ground and it's growing like crazy. Mums on the other hand are annuals.
I have a black thumb in growing plants. Our yard was beautiful at one time but drought and lack of Bobby Apppleseed, my husband AKA. he had green fingers and thumbs. I kill anything I touch. Yellow flowers are my favorite flowers, all of them. The ducks are still here today, they are now sleeping in the middle of the pool..
I am trying to remember if I grew mums when I had a bigger garden. I think not, but I am not sure. I don’t think we even got a pot of them last fall, but I am not sure about that either. .
Good job! Impressive return of your pretty mum. It came back in full force. Very rewarding!! I've tried all the mum over-wintering zone 4 "tricks" and finally gave up. My saying is "grow what grows for you" :))
I love mums and when my son was here he planted two by my front door. I hope I can take care of them! Enjoy your day! And thank you for staying close to me this past year and being my Arkansas friend!
I'm thankful for the rain we are getting right now. It's all missed us the past few weeks!
I wonder if your Mums will last until Fall? And I'm noticing the chair next to your Mums; that's such a neat design. Have a pleasant weekend, Terri.
I don't know much about flowers and plants, but these are beautiful!
Nice! Looks like you will get that Mum to bloom again:)
