I am so thankful that we live in the country. This morning, I saw 3 young bucks playing in the tall grass just on the other side of my fence. Very unusual to see them this close, but it was early. Every few seconds they all would stop, alerting to every little noise and seemed ready to bolt. Little Man didn't seem to be worried about how close they were to him, but I imagine he sees them a lot more than we do.

i live in the suburbs and have deer all the time in my neighborhood. in fact, they ate 1/2 of the tulips the hubs planted last fall. your view is prettier...i see mine on my ring camera!!!!! beautiful images!!
I saw a deer just beside the road yesterday, and it didn't run away.
Living in the country is the best. Love this view!
...sweet views. I wish you a Marvelous May!
It's the little things that make life better.
A wonderful sight that would be. Loved your photos!
What a lovely view. I think that would be so nice to see that looking out my window.
I just read your comment. The Audible version is very nice. The lady who reads it does fantastic voices. Its like watching a movie. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I have reread Lord of the Rings. :)
You are so blessed.
Oh, I love it when the deer come around, and sometimes I will see them through the window in my yard! I don't get the bucks that often, only the females, so it was a treat to see the bucks roaming in your area. What a nice surprise this was for you.
I wish you beautiful May days, Terri.
Country life is great. I heard a gobbler on a recent morning walk. I occasionally see hens, but never hear gobblers.
I live in the woods and love seeing all the wildlife every day.
Yes, living in the country is the best!! You never know what might happen, and I love that. Thank you for linking up.
Lovely views from your back porch.
Wishing you a happy new month of May.
All the best Jan
We have deer too so fun to see when they have new fawns:)
these are great pictures of the deer...We do see them at the farm, but not so much here in town where we live. They are beautiful animals and I enjoy watching them play.
Since we live in a city environment, there’s no chance of seeing deer from our 5th floor windows. Thanks for sharing your backyard views.
