For those that wanted to see the change- some of the flowers are turning orange.
I thought it would put out new flowers, but instead they just changed colors, backwards from what the nursery said, but I'll take it. I thought I knew what I was talking about when I said it put out new flowers. Obviously I know nothing about mums, y'all. :)
Walmart parking lot putting on a show. I knew I wouldn't make it home in time for a better shot. People were just driving right on by, and I thought you all need to slow down and check out this sky!
I spent a couple of hours at a cemetery this week, trying to find a man that someone else said was buried in a different cemetery. Anyways, I found him, on the back of his wife's stone. Also found footstones, which as you can see, are embedded in a pile of the devil's own insect, the nasty fire ant. By the time I finished walking around the whole cemetery I had a total of eleventy- seven bites. (Actually just 7 on one foot.) But it FELT like many, many more. I'm thankful I got out of there with my feet still attached. They were everywhere. My husband said they sure do like this cemetery! Actually, they just love the rain, because that's when they surface.

That is a beautiful sky. And yes, people should slow down and enjoy it!! Thank you for linking up.
I'm amazed by the color changing mums! And, wow. That is a stunner of a sunset.
Lovely post.
Have a wonderful weekend and a happy month of November.
My good wishes.
All the best Jan
Love your little Bo in his truck outfit :) That sky is wonderful. Now to go and find out what trunk or treat is?!
Stunning sunset! Fire ants, I know the feeling, we get them in our garden, and I've been bitten a few times, quite painful! Have a great week.
That was really a beautiful sunset and good for you to take time to appreciate the simple joy of nature and share it here. It sounds like your grands had a fun timeon Halloween. Thanks for the visit and comment on my recent post.
Hello,
Grandchildren are a joy! Love your flowers and the beautiful sky capture. It is nice to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasure of skywatching. Take care, enjoy your day and have a great week.
Also, I have added your blog to the sidebar blog listing of “ Blogs to Explore” on my blog for future visits😀 from myself and other bloggers.
That parking lot wasn’t a bad place for a sunset show. It was a pretty unobstructed view.
Your little gg is really cute! What fun to hold a baby too! You caught a beautiful sky!
Ten Four on turning off the tv to lower blood pressure. I am doing that more and more often these days.
I love your Walmart sky. It's amazing how many skies one can see in the big store parking lots if you just look.
Interesting about finding the name of the guy you were looking for on the back of his wife's gravestone. Struck a nerve for me because for some reason, my folks put their children's names on the back of their gravestone. Makes me feel a little strange actually.
I love your Walmart sky. I have seen some good Target and Costco sky photographs as well so you are in good company.
Glad you found the guys name but it was on the back of his wife's gravestone. My name is on the back of my parent's tombstone for some reason along with my sister and brother's names.
Them fire ants a devilish little critters. I grew up in the mountain west where we had red ants which were nasty enough. I got introduced to fire ants when I moved to Texas. They are tiny but they are powerful.
orange and yellow, they don't ever get the credit they deserve!! that is one gorgeous sky, it's best you didn't wait...you only have about 5 minutes to capture it!! it's good to be thankful for what we have and focus on the positive!! i have been watching the old diane keaton movies, the stone family, is my favorite!! i ordered the advent calendars on amazon...there are so many with a ton of different themes. i had no idea there was such a variety!! so nice to see you today, have a great week and you should post more often!!
Glad you stopped to take a picture of that amazing sky so I could see. It truly is amazing! Bo is a cutie and awww, you got to hold the new baby. I hate turning the time back too. I was out of sorts all day yesterday. Got supper done way too early...well, it felt like time to cook and eat!!:(
Thank you!!
Wow, I could never pass up that sky without stopping for a photo. What a beauty!!
