Finding Nemo is one of my favorite kid movies :)

Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul-
and sings the tunes without the words-
and never stops at all.

 Emily Dickinson

This quote just grabbed me today- probably because I have been watching entirely too many news-opinion shows and I sure can't find any hope for our country there- so I turn to nature because therein lies the heart of hope.

  25. Love the sentiment. If I can't quiet my mind myself, nature will always help. I saw a picture the other day of a field of dandelions - it said: "...some people see a field of dandelions, some people see a million wishes"... Happy hump day.

  32. Wonderful birds and the quote is perfect -- and a thought that is needed these days. (I haven't watched news shows since a year ago last November. Really. I read the newspapers and my Iphone alerts every morning ... and that's more than enough. I feel like I have more control over my emotions that way -- TV shows leave me wanting to scream.)
