Vacation to Branson & Springfield

Finding Nemo is one of my favorite kid movies :)

************

Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul-
and sings the tunes without the words-
and never stops at all.

 Emily Dickinson

This quote just grabbed me today- probably because I have been watching entirely too many news-opinion shows and I sure can't find any hope for our country there- so I turn to nature because therein lies the heart of hope.

Lovely photos, and wonderful words.so true. Nature can give us so much, accept what is on offer and take it all in with both hands. XX

ANY day with a rainbow is a good day.
Hope is fragile - and essential.

I LOVE your photos!!!!!!!! The bluebird was sitting so regally wasn't he? And the dandelion - it is GORGEOUS looking - but causes so much havoc!

Wonderful collection of photos today! Love the bluebird and the rainbow. The quote is such a nice reminder that no matter what is going on in our drama-loving human world, nature just keeps on going about her business. x Karen

Love the sentiment. If I can't quiet my mind myself, nature will always help. I saw a picture the other day of a field of dandelions - it said: "...some people see a field of dandelions, some people see a million wishes"... Happy hump day.

What a lovely Purple flower. Purple is my favorite color! That is a cool picture of the Dandelion. What an interesting photo at the Wildlife Museum.

Keep dwelling in nature, Terri. It is there where you will find peace from our sometimes messy world. : )

Wonderful birds and the quote is perfect -- and a thought that is needed these days. (I haven't watched news shows since a year ago last November. Really. I read the newspapers and my Iphone alerts every morning ... and that's more than enough. I feel like I have more control over my emotions that way -- TV shows leave me wanting to scream.)

Ahhh--don't we just love Spring... We saw a little Canada Geese Family on Sunday... The parents were banded. Check out my blog post today for a picture... I love Clematis and mine is blooming now also.... Our Bluebirds are nesting --and soon we'll have baby birds at the bird feeders... Love this time of year.

Hugs,
Betsy
