Randomly Tuned In

Col-e-o-le-us or simply coleus :)
My sister's fave, so I'm going to see if I can keep them alive
Sheltered right now because of impending doom...I mean a severe storm watch for today.

A few hummingbirds have been spotted in Arkansas, (see map here) but I haven't seen any yet.  They usually arrive within a month of my purple martins....but with our messed up weather, who knows? Have they arrived at your house yet?

A barn view  from the hill
& turning around just
a few minutes later, I captured this glorious sunset.

Last, but not least,  an old song for those who are thinking of hitching a ride to the space station (somewhere out there by that moon)
Rocket Man
and I think it's gonna be a long, long time before I ever want to visit. But if I were younger, and super rich...I just might.
Wishing all a wonderful weekend!

The Coleus is such a colorful plant.
Wonderful shot of the Barn/Moon
Gorgeous Sunset
I think I'll stick to earth but I do like the Rocket Man song.

Those leaves are always so intriguing, and the barn, love that extension pole so the wide sliding door can open right across the front, and what a sunset, those deep shades last for such a short few minutes,Great timing.

I think that coleus :is beautiful and photographs amazingly. I have seen it before - but never grew one. I am like Sandra - not a green thumb!

I am ready for space travel

...some of the newer coleus have amazing colored leaves, it's too bad that they have such awful flowers. The only new birds that I have seen are robins. What a killer sunset! Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your weekend.

Love your photos! I've not seen any hummingbirds yet, but my daughter (two hours south of us) has tons of them.

Another night of potential severe weather. Ugh. I can already hear thunder!!

Watching the radar here too. Hope we both dodge the bullet.
May have seen a hummer this morning but it went past the window too fast to be sure.

What weather event? I am going to be checking on this. Surely it won’t be anything that begins with s-n. 🙂

No hummingbirds here yet but I've seen a few butterflies. Coleus reminds me of grandma. She had such good success with them. Looks like it will pour rain any minute here in n. GA. It is very warm though Blessings to you this weekend, Terri.

Hello, the plant does have pretty colorful leaves. I love the moon capture and the beautiful sunset. I just put out my hummer feeder just in case I have an early arrival. Enjoy your day and weekend!

Always enjoy your random pictures, Terri. Yes, the hummingbirds are fluttering about here. They are my most beloved bird. That sunset is gorgeous. I think it belongs on a greetings card. : )
