You have some great birds at your pond! I assume the Heron is happy alone for now.. Have a great day!
Yes, blue does look lonely.Diana
awww! i have to hurry and get another song implanted into my head or that one will be stuck all afternoon! :)
Poor Blue. Here's wishing him a girl friend :)
Your pictures are always beautiful. Poor Blue does look lonely. Everyone else on the pond has a buddy. :)
He does look lonely and a little blue and also cold... tell him to get on down here to see his blue cousins...
Aww, he needs to socialize more. I hope he makes friends. :)
Nice reflections of the birds in the water!
It will not be lonely. All the fish keep it warm inside.Beautiful reflections.
Aw...and those other ducks are kissing! Poor guy needs a girl!
An introvert, no doubt. :-)
This is all so gorgeous!! Pure serenity! And kissing cousins...errrrr, um, ducks! Lovin' it.And the blog post title is perfect.Thank you for sharing your link this week at I'd Rather B Birdin'. Such enjoyable shares from you and everyone.
Aww.. herons do tend to be loners. And now I have an earworm!
I think he needs a friend :)
Nice variety there! The GBH is my favorite, of course!
slice of life! NiceALOHA from HonoluluComfortSpiral <3
Beautiful scenes. Hope he finds a friend.
I think he is standing guard!
I hope he finds a friend. These are great shots, Terri! I love the reflections.
He might be there by himself, maybe a friend will happen by soon, Photo #1 with the muted colours in reflections is wonderful.
Blue doesn't exactly fit that old saying... birds of a feather.
They are solitary birds. He'll be happy if he catches enough to eat.
Oh don't worry I am sure he/she will be OK. Great shots. Hug B
They always seem to be loners! I don't think they want to have to compete for fish! ;)
It did make me smile, to see him all hunched up there. Poor cranky fellow.
He needs a lady friend.
Even if he is by nature a loner, his posture kind of says something else. Rather like a new kid's first day in the cafeteria.
Maybe he's a loner.. Such great shots.. Hugs~
He looks like a "Silent Sentry"!
He does look lonely out there while the geese enjoy themselves. I like how you captured that one goose's wings outstretched.
Awww. It does paint a lonely picture, but I think they enjoy hunting by themselves. At least he is among other waterfowl. :)
Aw, he looks kind of sad, doesn't he. Great photos!
Maybe he is security for the geese!
Loved your photos today! I am thinking that maybe herons are loners as it seems that when I have seen them here, trying to steal a koi, they're always by themselves. Speaking of geese, I was shocked to see a group of them today, in the middle of a city, by the side of a very busy road. I told me friend who was driving she should have stopped so I could get a photo :)Blessings, Aimee
That is funny. Maybe he should find a new location. :-)
Lovely captures , poor blue maybe he is happy there alone for now.
They are such lonely looking birds! Love these images, such great reflections and love the lines in the water in the first one!
awwww, he does look a little lonely but he has company. perhaps they bond, after you visit!!
Beautiful photos. And yes, I hope the heron finds a mate. Thanks for dropping by my blog. I'm going to enjoy seeing your photos popping up my daily feed.
