Morning, looks spooky in the swamp but pretty at the same time, Blessings Francine.
Spooky? YES! The thought of a gator being there makes chills go up my spine. ;)
Is it weird that I always find swamps more than a little spooky?
I love Cypress. I suppose the knees are protected now like the alligators?Uncle Bill used to take me rabbit hunting in the swamps during dry season. When we did well we always took them to a house on the edge of the swamp where some elderly people lived. Uncle Bill cleaned the rabbits as we talked. He left the rabbits and we were on our way. I couldn't even tell you where...just South.
Oh I just hate alligators! I'll take New England's snowy winters and blizzards over alligators any day.
The swamp may be spooky, but your photos are beautiful.
Vewy vewy spoooooky.
looks spooky from here, i can only imagine being there. and add snakes and spiders to the gators....
gosh those are impressive trunks and you've captured the spookiness for sure..wouldn't want to get dumped in there.
ok, i thought you were going to sing a song - oh, what country song goes like that? Devil Down to GA? bloggy brain - not working this AM.neat view. ( :
You won't catch me swimming there, that's for sure!!
Pretty photos and yes, a little spooky!
ohhhh were you out in a boat? i remember when we went to Okefenokee a few years back, i was hoping we'd get to see gators, and we saw TONS! highlight was going out on an air boat in the everglades, which we continued our trip down there!
Spooky and murky... nice shots, but I wouldn't put a toe in there!
Love the name "WOoly Swamp " eerie. .
really, really cool, though! :)
Oooo! Ghostly spooky, but fun!
These are beautiful photos. You've captured the spooky beauty of swamps--at least, that's how I think of them. I appreciate the beauty, but I'm too scared to venture far!
I love the Wooly Swamp...regardless of what Charlie Daniels says ;)!! Nice shots.
Spooky and Murky...not a fan of gators....think I'll enjoy the scene from the safety of my computer chair!Nice pictures, you've really captured the spirit of it.
It even looks spooky in the daytime! Nice pictures!
My son saw his first gater (other than those he's seen in a zoo) during his move south recently. I want to see all my gaters from far, far away:)Blessings, Aimee
Very spooky! I've always been scared to death of murky water and will never jump into water unless I can see to the bottom!
Those trees remind me so much memories from I lived in Caracas... Thanks for the rush.
Oh wow seriously? Love the trunks on those trees. They look so old!
Gators were one reason I didn't feel badly about leaving Florida. I had a couple of close encounters. Much prefer swamps via photo. Nice shots.
Yep, a bit spooky looking but cool too. I wouldn't want to meet up with no gator though :)
Spooky yes, but also beautiful.
Does look spooky ---and looks like the swamps of Louisiana!!!!Have a great weekend.Hugs,Betsy
HI Spooky but still interesting. Have a great weekend and keep your feet out of that swamp!! Margaret
I'm a chicken... I won't go to that swamp day or night.
Not the place for a afternoon dip I would think!Stewart M - Melbourne
You need your wits about you if wandering round in a swamp. Can't imagine what it's like at nightime - gives me the shivers thinking about it.
Cool shot and post ~ Happy Weekend to you ^_^
Great Shots and yes very spooky..
