Just two gators, passing on by

Hello happy Egret!
This is more my speed.  The gators creep me out.

Thankful Thursday~
Thankful today for time to add more happiness between the dashes of my life, for memories that still sting, for prayers that are heard, for hugs with my dad, for tears that break my heart but also cleanse my soul, for photos and songs  and for my family.

  10. Wonderful photos today - ALL of them! My husband would be so jealous of your Martins. Now those gators are something I do NOT want to see in our pond!

I'm thankful for the praying community to which I belong and the comfort their prayers bring.

  12. Huh?? One of the reasons I left Florida was the gators. You mean they are here? Well hopefully not in the mountains. What awesome pictures and I loved seeing the condos full of Martins.

  14. Great photos. My vet just painted an egret. Check out his work on TYJ Art Studio, Fine Art by John Plishka. You will be amazed. He paints animals, and also Civil War era art. There are many horses.

  16. Like your pictures, Teri. Gators always cause excitement. We have them here in our subdivision and at the golf courses. Also herons but I don't think any egrets. Yours look so very dignified, standing tall.

  17. Those are great photos! I think the alligators are cool, but I'm too old and unstable to hang out around them anymore. The last time I was at Brazos Bend State Park, I almost stepped in one's mouth. I was so busy looking at the hundred out in the water that I didn't see the one on the water's edge right at my foot. We haven't been back.

Your bird images are terrific. :)

    Have a blessed weekend.

I hope you are having a nice week and you are doing okay. I sure have been thinking about you. Blessings Terri.

  20. Hi Teri, Beautiful pics! I wouldn't want the gators that close, though there is something so beautiful about the Everglades.
I miss my dad and mom too! I am so thankful for His grace that covers me every day and the joy at life with family!
    Hugs,
    Noreen
