One of seven brand new English {Bulldog} puppies-
Cuteness overload

More practice with night shots- I thought the wispies were cool- a leftover contrail

Well, I guess our {Artic} chill of 7 degrees was a bit chilly.  The pond thought about freezing over, but then said, nah, we got this.

And leaving you today with a Christmas gift I got from my daughter
Handwritten recipes printed on tea towels, from my mom, and both grandmas,
something I will forever treasure and always be thankful to own.

  1. What an awesome gift! Love the puppy. I'm trying not to succumb to getting another, but it's difficult when they are so cute!

  3. That is the CUTEST puppy! Hubby and I were just talking about puppies. I want one...but we don't live in a good place to have one. No fenced in yard. Love your recipes! Hugs!

  6. Lovely wee puppy, but wait till he grows. The recipes, they could well be hung on the wall or framed, too beautiful to stay hidden in a drawer. What treasures.

  7. If my daughter saw your adorable new puppies, she'd be over with her PJS for a sleepover with them - for ever!

  27. I love these Winter scenes. Our weather is so crazy! It was subzero, but now we have have freezing rain, which is very rare in January for the Great Lakes. Next week they are predicting upper 40s-low 50s! The Annual Ice Fishing Derby is soon! A thaw would affect it!

  29. Fun post. I still have my mother's actual recipe book with all her hand-written recipes in it. Just to see her handwriting brings her so much closer to me now that she's gone.
