Randoms ~ Celebrate Mother Nature

 Golden Yellow Sunrise

After a stormy night, where you can just barely see the lightening strikes.
I am newly fascinated with night photography but clearly need to read a few more instruction books (HA HA)

{Thankful} for
A walk in the park with my favorite fella
which is still lit up here and there for Christmas
(the park, not my husband..LOL!!!)

{fav}
A couple of cool old vehicles behind the fence
I can't quite read the name of the car, anyone?

Mother Nature taking over as she is so prone to do.

Interesting tree

and the dinosaur track that I think is just about to succumb to the elements

This was my random week, after the whirlwind of Christmas, and parties, and way TOOOO much food. I do believe I need to take a few more walks to lose a couple of pounds I gained.

Not to rush anyone back to the old grindstone, but I do hope that you all had a wonderfully blessed Christmas, and that life is returning to normal. Now if we could just do something about this wierd weather.....

  6. Love the photos! Could that car be an old DeSoto? Just don't know...maybe one of the guys know. Cool shots though!

  7. thank you for a lovely walk through a park! I've enjoyed it... still, it strikes me that there are old, abandoned cars to be found in nature... In The Netherlands you won't find views like this because it is not allowed by law. People who are responsible for upholding law regulations in the specific areas come and cleen things up if necessary. And no... i don't know what car it is but you've photographed it very well anyway like all the others photo's.

Wishing you a magnificent New Year

  8. I am always amazed when nature claims abandoned vehicles. Somehow they seem less forgotten that way.

  15. My "car guy" (my SIL) thinks it's a late 40s Buick... maybe a 1948 based on the split windshield.

Great photos all around. I especially like that interesting tree!

  43. Beautiful series of images. I love the unusual tree. The sunrise is amazing! I'd love to do more night photography, but I don't have the patience to set up the tripod. I have a lot to learn too before I'd get any decent results. Thanks so much for joining in Friday's Hunt. Happy 2017!

  45. We have a business along our highway that has a tree growing out of its back truck bed. The sell trees and I am betting they figured out how to separate a part in the back to get it to do that. Your tree in you truck has grown there naturally. Fun photo.
