I wouldn't call it work so much as something I really enjoy doing.
But it is time-consuming, so I'm cheating on this one,(just a bit) for Friday's Hunt.  I know Teresa won't mind.  She's cool like that.

The news is dripping with sarcasm, hate, anger and meanness.
I see other bloggers are doing this, so I'm joining in.

Happy X 3

We don't get a good cell signal in our home anymore...most likely because of the metal roof we installed after the shingled roof was damaged in a storm a couple of years ago.
I called AT & T this morning and she gave us a solution- using our home wi-fi and that is working great so far.  So yay for customer service and for friendly reps.

Mark had his one year check up with his heart doctor and he gave him a great report.

I love the new Cigna {TV Doctors) commercial.  Watch it here  if you haven't seen it.  Also, the Forever Country video- Love, love love it!

I challenge you now- tell me three things that have made you happy this week!

  3. Hello, great post and images. I love the moon shots and the misty scene. The turtle and quote is great! We have a lousy cell signal at our place too. Enjoy your day and the week ahead!

  4. At my last home you couldn't move much once you got a signal. I met a man this summer whose hobby is taking care of graves in historic cemeteries. often family has been absent for decades.

  9. The morning mist touched me the most. I am a morning person. Loved your three positive things. Ahhh such a relief from the daily news. Wonderful about Mark and I will have to check into the home WiFi thing for I have no signal here. Absolutely loved the turtle thinking he is flying. Our state of mind is all in our perception.

    1. Our phone already has the connection- she just showed us how to turn it on to use with our home wifi. If you have an iphone, I think that is all it takes. Don't know about other phones. Good luck...it is so much better now.

  13. I finally climbed into a pant size I'm not ashamed of. I finally came up with an idea for a painting I'm excited about. Our adult son told me something I've waited a long time to hear---he's happy!

    1. That's super news. I love to see my kids be happy. I have a pair of pants draped across a chair that I am trying on about once a week. I'm going to get there. Kudos to you for doing it!

  16. I love these, especially the misty morning. I love misty mornings and if I had a view like that it would make me happy. So there's one thing, two is spending time with my friends. They came over for a long weekend and we chatted up a storm. Chatting to our son on the phone a few times. Hubby finding more relatives of mine on his genealogy search of my family. Who knew there were relatives in cemeteries not too far away from us and that we started coming over here as far back as the 1600's? Not me or any of my now relatives over in the UK . People came here before the Civil War too and fought on both sides. Genealogy is a wonderful journey.

  17. Wonderful photos.

Happy...I had just enough to pay the current bills. My dogs want to sit with me even when I'm grouchy. The cucumbers and summer squash are still producing! Andrew did really great at his musical event. Oops, that's four. Do I have to take one back?

  34. Thank you for the positive approach -- we need that about now, that's for sure!!! I do try to think of three things I'm grateful for or happy about each morning before I get out of bed (a suggestion of my favorite ever Yoga instructor) ... it helps get the day off well ... of course, she also thought that a half-hour of stretch and poses should follow, but I don't always get around to that ;>) Really good news about the one-year checkup... Good good good!

  35. great photos, love the fog! wait, you work for find a grave or is it as a volunteer? i haven't been out on a hunt in ages...used to drag the kids out to help me, they are pretty quick finders, mostly so they can be done and go home lol
