Starting a New Chapter

Currently the only fence on our property that doesn't need Mending.

Wings
The Yellow Bird is back
I know this is a need, but I don't like him
spraying so close to my house.

8 Spotted Forester Moth
I sure thought that was pollen, but I guess it's just yellow boots.

  4. i would not like the spraying that close either. we don't have planes spraying but we have tons of planes because we are smack dab half way between Tampa Airport and Sarasota/Bradenton and 3 other small airports with in 10 miles, PLUS McDill Air Force base. and our sheriff has 2 helicopters and there is a helicopter school at our airport. PLUS we have 2 small planes like this one that pull advertising banners along the beaches.. our sky is busy. love the butterfly and Happy Birthday to your mom

  9. Enjoyed everything you shared today. That fence is one IO might not crawl under. Looks a little sharp. Best wishes to your mom for a great, special day.

  20. Happy Easter. We haven't seen top dressing planes for years but then while heading to the orchards a few weeks ago we saw one. So they are still out there.

  29. Nice pictures, Teri. You and your mom together is precious. Most people don't have very many with their moms. I don't think there are any of Mom and me. She died in 1999 at age 88,
I like the fence and the pasture. I grew up on a farm in eastern Nebraska. Also for high school I rode a horse to a country two room school for my first two years.
I like your blog title, I'm not one to always be between the lines. I wrote a poem last year on that, " http://jimmiehov6.blogspot.com/2015/10/another-unpromted-poem-stay-between.html ". (You will have to paste the link-or Google it.)

  38. Happy Birthday to your Mom, that is such a lovely photo of you both. I enjoyed all your photos today. The plane was a fun catch. I would feel the same about the spraying though. You made that barbed-wire look like a work of art. I loved the Spotted Forester Moth on the blossoms, beautiful shot.

  41. That barbed wire fence looks menacing! I guess that's the purpose! :) Yes, fences always need mending. I've noticed a lot of fences around here that were damaged from snow plows this winter. The moth is beautiful! And what a nice picture of you and your Mom!
