Be Still My Heart

Moment in Time
March 5
2:33 p.m.

Watching a butterfly is the most peaceful exercise.
It flutters here and there, and I imagine if it landed on my skin I would not feel it.
I love that nature soothes my soul, and that I can be a tangled mess of nerves, doubts
and worries, yet the minute I walk outside, my worries scoot over in my heart
and make room for God's healing grace.
Peace
Calming, merciful, blessed peace.

  1. I've seen several Monarchs lately, but they are way too fast for me to capture them with my camera.

  4. Odd you should post this. we saw our first very large swallotail flitting around the yard yesterday. we were sitting in the swing talking and there it was... we watched as it touched plant after plant and talked about how peaceful it made us feel. we have red admirals, they have been here for a couple of weeks, and most evenings at 5 pm, he comes and sits on my shoulder or arm. and he is so light it is like a whisper

  17. Beautiful. I remember with awe and wonder how much I loved butterflies as a child. These days I seldom see one except we got some pale yellow ones in my garden from time to time.

  20. Geat photo. Butterflies won't sit still long enough for me to get a photo or maybe I'm too impatient.
