Happy New Year!!

I took a walk this afternoon around the pond. The horses are a bit muddy, but not too worse for wear after the horrible storm we had last week. I hope everyone had or is still having a wonderful holiday with family and friends, or just a peaceful time alone- something I have savored all day long today. My New Year's list is long, but more filled with fun goals than vices I wish to overcome. Totally did not eat black eyed peas today either...but then again, I never have on NY's day, so hopefully my luck will hold anyways!

"Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let every new year find you a better man" - Benjamin Franklin

Happy New Year!!

  4. I would have enjoyed that walk.

What color is the first horse? I can't tell if it's dun or grulla? I know you mentioned mud.

    Blessings.

  13. Have thought of getting a donkey. Need someone to keep predators at bay and someone suggested it, but I also had heard they can be ill tempered.

  19. Happy New Year. When I was young we HAD to eat black eyed peas on New Year's Day for luck. Honestly, I had to hold my noise I disliked them so much. Maybe that's what happened, no black eyed peas since then.
