September Equinox

I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers. 
...Anne of Green Gables 

A tiny glimpse of fall, teasing me with gold, orange and brown?...
or maybe just a kiss from the late afternoon sun is all...
but so it begins!
This is my favorite season- I can't wait for the leaves to change.

  4. Yes, the colours are moving along nicely. We will hit the road soon and see a lot in the next week or two. I don't know if this is to be an excellent year for colour or not. We shall see.

  8. Sometimes with good reflections I have turned the shot upside down to get an even different effect. Lovely colors, i am seeing a lot around me.

  22. This is beautiful Terri, I love Fall too. It's already gotten cooler here and I've made my first batch of hearty soup. Love this time of the year. By the way, I occasionally take a look at your genealogy blog as we've jumped into our family tree and are enjoying the ride.

  33. That is my favorite season too in the temperate countries as we only have 2 seasons, wet and dry! Even if that is my favorite, i just based it on photos and readings because i haven't experience Autumn, oh how nice if i can feel it in person!

  37. Spring is in full swing here - we have a bee swarm in the garden and I spent all morning getting the garden ready for spring vegetable planting. Same world - different plans!
