It Will Rain a Sunny Day

A little bit of this and that from my week:

Top- Photos from the mill, sent by my son.  A storm blew through and left the double rainbow.
You can get down now, Bub.
2nd- Steam rising after the storm.
3rd- Rain or shine, the martins are swooping and diving- it's that time again.  This one has a large delectable delight for his babies, who are waiting patiently inside the gourd.
4th- Fly high above the clouds. I am amazed that my camera can pick up the red engines on this plane, but can't zoom in on a bird less than 200 feet away on the pond.  :)
5th- And finally, cotton ball clouds against the prettiest blue sky we've seen in months, but no rain this day..
and yet, here it comes again......

  16. These rains in our part of the country just don't seem to quit, do they. We have lucked out a bit with tropical storm Bill. It moved a little bit further to the west, just enough to take our county out of the flood zone!

  19. I love the 'ghost plane' that is what it looks like and i think it gets those engines because we can focus longer, the birds are flitting close and fast. but then who knows
