a very sweet photo and post.
A beautiful Memorial Day post, Terri. My gratitude to your cousin who gave his life for our freedom.
Wonderful photo - and nice remembrance. My F-i-L served in WWII and is now 92. His memories of his service are as if they happened yesterday.
I feel with you.
Beautiful tribute and beautiful photo!
it is not to early, the day is this long week end and this is beautiful and a perfect tribute.
he was only eighteen, so young to give his life for freedom...and brave.:)
A wonderful tribute not only to the Memorial Day Weekend but to your cousin.
A very nice tribute to your cousin and all veterans who have served our country.
Lovely image and tribute to your cousin! God Bless all our heroes. Have a happy Memorial Day weekend.
I think many people are taking this whole weekend to remember those who have fallen.
It is a wonderful image for Memorial Day...
So young! So long ago! My dad fought in Korea. He is not over it yet. I am sorry that your aunt and uncle never had the closure that having his remains would be. A blessed Memorial Weekend to you.
How sweet that you have taken this time to post this tribute about your cousin who gave all at such a young age. Family never forgets.
This was very interesting to me, not just the Oklahoma connection but your second link takes us to information that your cousin is recognized at the Honolulu Memorial. My plan is to go there, Hawaii, to see if my uncle's name appears, he died off of Saipan during WWII. Wonderful photo!
Beautiful Terri! May your cousin's memory live on and on. Blessings, Aimee
A wonderful tribute!
May they never be forgotten.
Great tribute to James. So thankful for his service and so sorry for your loss.
Down here Anzac Day was recently celebrated, and we remember, as you do, those who do not return. A tribute from you, so fitting, for your cousin and for Memorial Day Weekend. Hugs, in memories, and sadness too.
Beautiful photo, Terri. Very touching tribute.
Thank you for your sentiments. Much appreciated.
Hi There, Happy Pentecost today. Hope you are wearing your RED....Happy Memorial Day Weekend to you and yours also. Let's never forgot those who died for our freedoms... God Bless them ALL, including your cousin.Sorry I haven't been around much. George and I have a couple of new online programs (one is a Food Journal and one a fitness/exercise program) --so we are VERY busy increasing our exercise and getting healthier... That's my excuse and I'm sticking' with it... ha ha Hugs,Betsy
I was fortunate enough to have the young man I loved come home to me. He came home on March 3rd and we were married the day I graduated from high school on June 18, 1954. I was so lucky. Many were not. I honor your cousin...I am so very sorry he never returned. So many wars and so much sadness. Pat went on to fight in Vietnam , three tours and came home safe though on the front lines. I was blessed..and this time so were our seven babies. Much love to you and thank you for stopping by my blog and commenting! I appreciated it.Mona
