Good Fences @ the runaround ranch
&

This morning's view from the back porch.
 Cute critter on my rosebush,
which I am learning is not such a good critter, and now he is gone.
 Hummer on the lookout.

  17. Now that caterpillar does major damage here . It cleans the leaves off the poplars. It's once in a while that there is a huge population explosion and everything goes nuts.

    1. I had no idea- I haven't seen any others, but I guess I should remove him just in case he wants to eat my rose bush!

  19. Love the reflections in the first shot and that's quite an amazing caterpillar. Awww, the hummer. We just got my daughter a feeder and she has a bunch of them. She's so excited. Like Tex, she has been absolutely bombarded with tent caterpillars, which hasn't been much fun at all!
