Zero to Spring

Randomly....with Nancy & Tanya

My red bud tree is blooming, the sun is shining, and I hear Mr. Red Baron, the crop duster man, zooming over the house this morning.  Spring has definitely sprung!

I've been craving pasta (that we don't eat anymore because of dh's diabetes) so I made zucchini lasagna.  Except for knowing it wasn't the real deal..it actually tasted pretty good.

I'm struggling with a bit of wanderlust lately.  Here are my current "dream" travel plans.

I'll leave you with one of my favorite Random posts........ and an early morning reflection shot of Dakota:  Have a wonderful weekend!  (I'm counting photos, so I may have gone over 5- sorry!)

  2. Redbud trees are so pretty and ours are not blooming yet. The horse picture with the reflection is beautiful. I really want to try the zucchini Lasagna. Oh, one more thing...that is the cutest baby pig I've ever seen!

  3. Beautiful photos!

It's so funny because everyone is posting about spring with photos of flowers and grass... but here in New England there is still over a foot of snow on the ground! We haven't seen green grass on the ground since last year! But that is OK with me because I love New England weather!

    Enjoy the Dakota weather!

  14. Your reflection is so beautiful, and travel plans, when the page came up and the first word was "New", I hoped it might just be, for that split second, followed by " Zealand" and you would be coming down here... never mind, it looks like a wonderful place to visit. We are into Autumn, dark mornings, cool evenings, an occasional frost, leaves falling, but... some spring bulbs are showing green stems about 8 inches tall !!!

  50. Great colour in that tree - although its a different species we have a purple tree in many gardens around here - called a jackaranda - and it flowers in the weeks before Christmas.
