Samson

I have another granddog to introduce to you.
His name is Samson, and he is a super sweet, 18 month old English Mastiff
that my son and his family have adopted.
These photos are from his first day with his new family.

Clockwise from bottom left:
Samson is ready to go
My daughter in law's view from the back seat on the ride home.
(for reference, my son is at least 6 foot tall)
Samson meets the kids and they all ♥love♥ him instantly,
but I think
he has picked out his main buddy.

Welcome to the farm, Samson.

  12. Mastiffs are huge but said to be loyal and gentle, especially with children. I hope this adoption works out for everyone.

  16. His name fits him so well, and with a tall son-in-law ( mine is a little taller!!) a larger dog is so good, he fits in with everyone, and look at him sleeping, at home and happy, no settling in at all, as if he was there all his life, the very best way.

  23. awwwwwwwwww. He's so cool. I'm partial to large breeds. I've gone from Akita, GSD, to Rottweiler. They are all fabulous. Dogs are my favorite people.

  42. He's huge! I remember visiting a farm with friends and becoming aware of an animal nuzzling me. I thought they had a friendly calf, but it turned out to be a Mastiff. Wonderfully friendly dog and, for a long time, I wanted one. Then I found out how much they eat! =D
