OH, I like the shadows!
using that camouflage as best as it can!
She had her eye on you, didn't she.
i was staring at those awesome shadows and did not see the deer, i wondered what you meant. looked again and there he is.. wow shot
Great play with light, I almost didn't see the deer:)
What a fantastic shot, love the play of light and shadow!
I like that picture. I like how you captured that look on its face.
Safe on the side of the road, she was what I saw first, but love those lines and shadows. Jean
Yikes! Hope those deer stay off the roads. Our youngest hit a deer last week, right in the middle of main street, in the middle of the day. The durn thing came out of no-where, and basically ran into the side of his car.His car was destroyed.I've never hit a deer..... have you???Great shot, and it's lucky you caught that deer in the lens.K.
I love this! :)
Love those long shadows, Terri! I think that critter enjoys them too.
I hope this cutie stays off the road.
Very nice capture!
I hope the deer was safe, they make me nervous being so close to the road.. Great capture.. Enjoy your evening!
She's not easy to see at first!
You were definitely being checked out. I always get so nervous for them when they are near a road.
Awwww..he is a little to close to the side of the road for my comfort....they are such innocent and beautiful creatures. The shadows on the road are delightful to look at. nice photography :)
Thanks for dropping by my tea post and leaving a comment Terri. You've captured a curious deer probably wondering what that thing is you're holding.
I hope the deer doesn't damage someone's car! They are so hard to spot sometimes until they've darted into the highway. The shadows are helping to hide him/her!
Neat photo! One of the first things I noticed is that the road doesn't have a shoulder like roads here in Iowa! We do have plenty of deer though!
That's an amazing image!
Nice of him to pose for you. :)
she blends right into the shadows!
Very unusual photo...took me a minute to know what I was looking at. We have had those deer on our fenders twice in two years.
Oh I hope she stayed on the side or make it across safely. I love the picture.
absolutely perfect disguise, a "dude" would notice the deer not at all;-))regards Frank
Wow what an incredible shot :) I love deer so much!
Wow...amazing capture! Well done. I love this. It would be nice framed.
Capturing a special encounter, he seems intrigued!!
Nice shot, and a reminder that this is the time of year to be especially watchful for deer when driving during the shadow hours!
She sure blends in well!
Blends right in and hopefully stays out of the road...Love the shadows Terri... Always nice to see you in Nature Notes...Michelle
Very nice with the shadows!
We have had many killed. I was glad as you passed he did not go in front of you. Hope he never did after. We have some highways like yours and others no in the country.
You did a great job capturing the deer among the shadows.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate all of my visitors- please let me know you were here!
