Brought to You By the Letter M

Hello Mr Pig...I knew you when.
I guess you can take the mud off the pig,
but you can't take the pig out of the mud

This is McSquizzy
My daughter rescued him.
He just opened his eyes last week.
She took this photo.

A Luna Moth I found last fall.
I had never seen one before &
didn't  know they only lived a week.
He looked pretty ragged and beat up,

I bid you adieu
by the light of the Moon

  2. Actually, you can take the pig out of the mud. If given the chance, pigs will take a cool shower instead of mud. Every time. There is solid ag. research on that.

    Blessings and Bear hugs!!

Kudos to your daughter for saving the cute little guy

  4. The luna moth is beautiful! I also liked your shot of the pig. Iowa is prime pork-producing country, but we don't see many pigs out enjoying the mud!

  7. Now what will she do with the rescue? The moon shot is lovely. It was so light outside with the moon, we could really see without lights.

  13. I'm wondering about the rescue also, probably because I've always heard of the disease's they have. But, I'm sure to be wrong about that. I love pigs, I really do; love watching them. :)

  16. Lots of great M's today in your post... I laughed at the PIG --and his love of MUD... Sounds like my sons when they were little. They loved to play in the mud and splash in the mud puddles... Ah---the memories....

    Hugs,

  26. What gorgeous photos! Do you take these all yourself? There's something about capturing animal expressions up close that I think you need real skill to do.
