Summer Skies

Summer storms popping up every evening have provided a beautiful gallery of pastels

and the martins are still snatching bugs out of the sky for their babies

Or preening in the sunshine while the clouds gather in the distance.

  5. Delightful photos, Terri, as always. The mountains seem strange in the cloud and sunlight. And the Martins are really busy, unless they're taking a brief rest.

    Blessings and Bear hugs!

  14. Summer storms...yep, that's where we're at, too. I love the color in the clouds. Frankly, the heat & humidity is already too much for me. I find I'm already looking forward to fall, aren't you? Oh sigh! I wish I didn't wish my days away like that. Happy SWF!!

  20. I love the pictures. Martins must be really fun to watch. Sure wish a pair would move to our place. I've heard that Martins love wide open spaces. That may be the problem here, with all our trees.

  24. Very interesting skies over your place, especially the first with the gradations of color and the pattern of the clouds. I am sharing a much less interesting one for a photo challenge tomorrow. Your comment at my place made me nod in agreement. I, too, wish I were more bold, but never have been and never will be. Biking that many miles would not be my cup of tea.
