Freeze Frame ~ Saturday's Critters #1

These shots are from one of our summer camping trips.
I had a lot of fun watching this little scamper
freeze up every time I got too close.

I meant to use a pic of my adorable little rug rat Katie
for Eileen's first episode of Saturday's Critters, but I didn't have any new
ones and she is wrapped around her person's feet at the moment.
(That would be dh, I am just the food provider)

  4. They are fun to watch, but I hate them stealing my bird seed. I have often taken their pictures just for fun.

  6. I can watch the squirrels in our backyard for hours, they do some silly things at times. I hear you about your pooch, I'm just the walker and food provider too. I hope to see your furbaby on another of Eileen's parties.

  9. What a cute little squirrel this is! It is 20 degrees in Texas this morning, and there were 5 of these little guys out in my feeder this morning. They looked frozen too! Have a wonderful weekend. By the way I see the Cossatot River under your labels. Our cabin is by the cossatot. Are you around there????

    1. We like to camp there-it's below Gillham Lake. Your cabin must be above the lake.

Had to laugh at your comment about the DH...our furry ones adore their 'person' (and I am not that person).

  23. As long as those critters don't drive you squirrelly, I think you'll be just fine! The ones up here have apparently packed it in for the winter.
