  1. Thats not a sign you see everyday! I can remember some people getting splashed at some hot springs in New Zealand - not happy!

  8. his is beautiful, really beautiful. in our preserve we have to stay on the boardwalk/paths because of damage to next that birds lay their eggs in, and turtle eggs to... yikes on the flying hot mud...

  22. Yikes, that sure would take the fun out of that part of the park. I read the link and now I am wondering how they built the boardwalks. I get similar wonderings when I walk on them through swamps. How---

  25. When we visited there in the 60's, I remember hearing of a child who had been blinded by the steam and had accidently walked off of the boardwalk---I believe he died :( It is such a gorgeous area--but one to treat with great respect.
