  2. Ha! That is just exactly the time that I woke up this morning. May take a few days to get used to this time change. I used my extra "morning time " to llight a candle, enjoy my coffee, and read a great book that I am enjoying for a gifted hour. Have a wonderful monday!

  3. These are absolutely gorgeous .
To see this would " just about " make it all worth getting up at 3:30 in the morning !
I am glad I got to see it here on your blog at 7:15 am , while I sit drinking my coffee after doing farm chores.
    Thanks for the share.

  4. My inner clock is so messed up -- not sure what to do to correct it. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
    Lovely lovely skies Terri!

  8. Beautiful photos! DST can sure mess with your sleep schedule, can't it. Hope you can adjust soon.

  9. those are two very handsome skies you've caught...I am very familiar with 3H30 mornings and my Dad woke my whole life at 4 so I have taken a leaf from his early morning routines. I am not a cat napper like he was so a day can be long sometimes.

  13. Those are really pretty. I've been waking up earlier too. Every year the time changes mess me up for a few weeks, til I can get my mind right. LOL !!

  14. Those are some beautiful blues Terri! I love Fall and Winter but I NEVER adjust to the time change. 3:30/4am is a time I am familiar with. I try to go back to sleep but usually find myself down on the couch playing with photos and reading blogs.

  17. Great picture.
Just the blue skies, really sets a mood.
Time changes are always hard for my to get used to...... takes me about 6 months to get back on track, and then it's time to change again :)

  18. Just because the time changed doesn't mean you get up at 3:30 AM....good grief!! My kids (dogs) get me up at 6:30 and I think that is plenty early!! Now that it is dark early I usually crawl in bed earlier. The evenings seem as long as the days. Beautiful blues!!

  19. We're not happy with the time change here, but you've certainly captured some beautiful skies!

  20. I'm with you! I hate the time changes since I have enough trouble with sleeping. Your skies are very pretty, though!

  21. Oh! I meant to thank you for correcting my cicada post, along with TexWis. I had no idea the little guy never made it out of his shell completely. Very keen in your observation and I thank you again for that!

  22. Down here we too have DST, and I take ages to adjust, your sky photos are dramatic, love the last one so much, can see it on the wall. Sleep well!! Cheers, Jean.

  23. 3:30 is about the time I GO to bed, but getting up at that hour is too hard to imagine. Very dramatic skies!

  24. You must have 'fallen back' for more than one hour! But you sure got some gorgeous photos! It will take me a month to get used to the time change! lol Hugs!

  26. Wow, those are the kind of blues to have. What a wonderful color.
Like you, I haven't adjusted and am awake in the dark.

  27. We don't have DST where I live. Farmers for years have claimed the change would be too hard on the cows. I guess one excuse is as good as another.

I looked at your pictures and thought, "Blue skies smiling at me." Except these seem to be frowning instead of smiling. That's my perception.

    Now, on to Christmas!

    Blessings and Bear hugs, Terri!

  28. That looks like a beautiful kind of blues to have! My inner clock is pretty messed up right now - but the fact that I'm about to fly home which is an hour ahead may actually put everything right again :-)

  29. Beautiful blue--I LIVE for blue:) Your first photo looks like God took a big paintbrush and painted the skies with it. Love!

  30. Pretty blue skies! It always takes me a few weeks to adjust to time changes. I wish they would leave it one way or the other!
Have a good week...in spite of the new time!

  31. I think this time change has all of doing a dance with the clock....I am sitting here and it's 5:00 in the afternoon and it's almost dark....It always takes me a while to get used to the long nights.....Your "blues" shots are gorgeous....

  32. Yes... My clock needs a new battery...

  34. Crazy --the time change. It messes my body up for several days... Since we are on the outside edge of Central time, it gets dark here at 5 p.m. GADS!!!

    Great photos though.
    Hugs,
    Betsy
