  4. Such pretty pictures, Terri. Looks like you had the place to yourself!

  5. I LOVE NWRs! We have quite a few in the PNW and usually lots of Canadian geese--last year being the exception:(
    Have a great day!

  6. Somebody needs to give the wildlife some directions to this place, it looks very underutilized.

  8. Looks like a beautiful and calm area! Wonder why the water fowl don't come?

  9. Something must be lacking....serene shots though♫ My Rurality: http://lauriekazmierczak.com/orb-with-interest/

  10. That is kind of funny I wonder if they hide when they see someone coming:) B

  11. Looks great to me. Wonder what the hold up is? Maybe if they put a few tame ducks in the pond??

  12. I think it's a decoy for government testing of submarine drones. :)

  13. Hmm looks desolate for sure ... perhaps they can do an episode of Duck Dynasty there. hee hee "Build it and they will come ... or not !" lol

  14. Hmmmmm, why no wildlife? It seems kind of odd to me. And insure hope Andy isn't right! :-)

  15. That's too funny! Maybe they all hide when they know you're coming!

  16. It's a beautiful place! Andy's comment might be true.....

  17. Interesting. There's water etc etc....but not one bird. 3 years is quite a long time for not even a Mallard to notice. Something doesn't add up:)

  18. LOL! I would say 'perhaps the birds didn't get the memo' but that would be so 'old school'. So instead I will say "perhaps the birds didn't get the text". :)
Hopefully one will find this beautiful spot and tell the rest!!!

  19. That is strange... Wonder why there's no wildlife there, especially ducks or Canada Geese... Really weird!!! Wonder why???? Looks like a neat place!

  20. It looks like it could be nice habitat. Perhaps there isn't sufficient food for the waterfowl. You would think after three years there would be wildlife hanging around.

  21. It's a shame there's no wildlife as it's such a beautiful area...

  22. Oh dear! It looks nice and peaceful though

  23. This is definitely a puzzler. Someone obviously thought there was some wildlife around. It looks as if an observation platform has been provided.

  24. I think a little vegetation is in order. :)
Wildlife likes places to hide and nest.

  25. I agree with Carletta...but it is still pretty.

  27. That's a shame nothing's been to take a look. It looks so right for wildfowl but mybe the trees are too dense and tall as wildfowl prefer to fly in and out to open spaces.

  28. They may come at night, the nocturnal critters. Someone should stake it out!
