  2. you were so brave to stand on that boardwalk.. I would not stand on it or up on a roof. once when i was 15, i climbed up on the roof that daddy was putting tar on... i could not get down, i was so afraid i would not back off the roof onto the ladder. needless to say once daddy got me down i never got on a roof again.. of course the one in the song is not that kind of roof. and i could have made this short by saying, I don't do heights....

  9. HI Yes everyone needs somewhere to escape to although not everyone has such a beautiful place to go to. My escape, I call 'my retreat' is my 'old caaravan'. Margaret

  18. Not a "loose" interpretation at all, it's a "roof" of a different sort! Totally lovin' it! The perspective really makes one realize how small we are in the grand scheme of life, and that we are surrounded by beauty. Just gorgeous. And KUDOS on that weight loss!

  27. We've been there... Lovely area and waterfalls... I love your sign saying "The Mountains are Calling and I Must Go"... George have that written on SEVERAL of our T-shirts we have purchased in different places. We love that statement by John Muir.

  38. I'm so glad that you have found the way of not stressing:) I love nature and what it does for me. I'm with you on the stress part....can't handle people sometimes and find myself escaping more than I should sometimes to other beautiful places. But at least it's a good addiction:)

  42. Terri, what a beautiful spot to de-stress- breathe in the crisp clean mountain air and let go of all your worries and cares. Well done on the weight loss!

I would love to see this place- thanks for sharing Terri ~:)

  43. oh Terri a beautiful spot . I am a tree lover one can see of pictures I have taaken on my blog at times. I see beauty in trees. They look like people walking. In scripture. It reads. I see men walking as trees.
Good for you in your weight loss. How many times I have conquered the loss but Terry the hardest is keeping it off. Food is every where and you can not say no for ever. That is my downfall. I applaud you now of keeping it off those years. Look you can stand on that platform, walk better, run all those goody every day things. So that is the bonus. Be poud! Oh of course you are.

  44. Oh, I love everything about this, Terri!
