Edge of the Storm

I am grateful that the drought appears to be over for my area,
but it has only drifted west they say.
Prayers for those in Colorado who are in the path of the fires.

  3. Majestic clouds, beautifully captured!

Wished we could have sent towards Colorado some of the heavy rains we suffered for over a month, causing the floods higher than they have been since the Middle Age.

  10. that sky is spectacular... our drought has broken to, or we hope so, we have had a week of showers, blessed showers and about 8 inches all told with another week of showers. our trees are waving their arms with joy... flooding and fires and winds and tornados, nature gone wild.

  20. I could get lost in those clouds.
It is just a shame that those that need don't get and those that get don't need. Just not fair.

  22. Yes, we need to pray for those poor people who are in the path of the fires....and the animals who will lose their homes. Did you see the people there cheering for the firemen last week? I thought that show of gratitude was heart warming. The firemen need to be shown more appreciation like that....as do the people who go and repair power lines during storms and after tornados. We should be so thankful for people who are so selfless.

  27. Mother Nature is so powerful. Drought, fire, rain, snow. We can't control it. We were in Banff and Calgary Alberta last week and now they are in a State of Emergency with flooding. Sending out good thoughts to all those that meed it!
