  5. There is nothing quite like capturing mist coming off a pond or where I grew up, rolling up off the green hills on a spring morning.

  8. this is awesome, and i had to enlarge really really big to see what was down at the pond, and I found a donkey... i thought is was mountain lion.... so peaceful

  16. Lovely pond!! Would love to have a line in the water with a worm on the end!!
    You asked if chiggers are the same as gnats. Gnats are a cousin to the mosquito. They're smaller and don't draw blood, but bite just the same and itch, itch, itch.
    Chiggers itch too - but you get them when berry picking and off of moss and other plants. They like to get under your skin at tight places like your under ware line, socks and bra line. People put nail polish over the bites thinking that the bug is under the skin. I don't remember if they are, but it does dry up the bite. two different insects. BOTH itch and itch and itch!
