Pig in a Poke

Lucy & Maude

These two were brought home from the state fair to be spring mamas to next fall's show pigs.  The grands were super excited about having some cute little spotted piggies, but so far, Maude is just not interested in motherhood.  Lucy picked up her slack though, so there will be some stinkin' adorable hamp babies in the near future!

  2. I grew up on a hog farm in Illinois, and remember how cute the baby pigs were. Maybe that's why I like the movie "Babe" so much. :)

  17. She's purty, even if she doesn't want to be a mom! My husband raised pigs when he was a kid, so we always pay a lot of attention whenever we see them.
