i wish they were in my yard
Wow! Look at all of them in that yard!! I'm amazed!
OH MY GOSH! There's sooo many! Can you imagine having all of them in your yard as you walk outside to get in your car to go somewhere? That would be sooo cool, but I wouldn't want to spook them... When I lived in the country a few years ago, & I spotted a deer in my front yard one morning & hollered to my daughter to come look. My camera was in my car & she was able to open the front door, walk outside, get in the car, get the camera, & take several pics of this deer before it walked on thru & out of sight... I was just amazed at how smooth & careful she was to not scare it off... I couldn't have done it! We lived on 3 acres, so there wasn't that much property... Awesome shots! =)
oh, that second shot is divine!
Wow, what amazing pictures! Wow!
Cool shots from Yellowstone. Love the elk at Mammoth.

Ah! The magic of Yellowstone!
another beautiful place I have always wanted to see...amazing.
Great pictures!Certainly brings back a lot of memories for me.My dad and mom used to pack us six kids up in the station wagon, and pull the trailer to Yellowstone each and every summer for 3-4 weeks, when I was a kid.We always had such a blast!!We've taken one trip since we've been married, and we are planning another trip at the end of the summer. Yellowstone is a great place!!Thanks so much for sharing.. you've made my day :)
beautiful elks :-) Dropping by from Camera Criiters
when i drive from here to Savannah, a 384 mile trip, I take the interstate for 2 hours because i have to, get off and do 3 hours on 301 back roads, then the last 90 minutes on interstate because i have to. i prefer back roads because of the scenery and i feel safer. the people on interstates drive 90 plus MPH.
Cool pictures! I have never been to Yellowstone, but I hope one day I will.
Thanks for coming by and leaving a comment on my "Tin Man". After I had all the pieces gathered, it took us about a week to put it all together. Have a glorious weekend.Ann
Beautiful, they are so graceful. I would just be spellbound!!

Amazing. Perhaps one day, I'll get to see it.
Life is so free out there.
Since her comment was first I couldn't help notice what Sandra had to say! I need to write her about what elk can do to your plants and trees. You don't want them in your yard. They're best left to live where they belong! Great photos!
Oh my gosh this is beautiful I wish I had of seen that. Thank you so much. Awesome. B
Every since I worked out that the location of Yogi Bear was a play on a real place I have wanted to visit. One day!Nice set of pictures.Stewart M
Very cool photos! Love all the deer in the yard!
make me smile seeing them lazing around like that. Worlds apart but kind of akin to my kangaroos post
That photo of the elk by the river, with the steam rising in the background, is just gorgeous.
AH! I love Yellowstone NP! It is my favorite National Park of all. I loved your photos. Thansk for coming over to my blog and leaving a comment.
Gorgeous! I want to go there some time...went when I was three, but of course don't remember anything! Thanks so much for commenting on my blog!
Beautiful pictures. But it is not all fun. These are big critters. And when they move into town, they can cause a fair bit of havoc. Especially with people who try to get near them.
These animals are gorgeous! We would love to visit there sometime! That second photo is just breath-taking!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate all of my visitors- please let me know you were here!
