Historic Old Washington State Park, Arkansas
Tourist Wagons
This small community was home to some of my ancestors starting way back in the 1820's- Buster, Moss, Sutton & Webb.
Every spring, the town hosts the Jonquil Festival, with vendors, great food and music. The Southwest Arkansas Regional Archives is also located here, and if you enjoy genealogy, it is a great resource for 13 counties in Southwest Arkansas.

ReplyDeleteOld Washington State Park sounds like a neat place --especially in Spring.. Are their Jonquils the same as what most of us call Daffodils???? (My mother called them Jonquils also.)
ReplyDeleteWe'll have to find this place sometime when we visit Arkansas again.
Hugs,
Betsy

ReplyDeleteLove the picket fence beside the barn.

ReplyDeleteWhat a dear little barn and those tourist wagons remind me of the ones here in Lexington. I rode in one in Rome, Italy, and that was it. Have never done it here in the states. Your captures are lovely. genie
